We are excited to announce about our selection out of the many high quality CFP proposals we received. The decision wasn’t easy, and yet, we believe that our selection reflects our desire to focus on the edge. Our coming conference for 2022 will include small sessions of 30 minutes each, delivered by the following speakers.
Gavin is the Co-founder/CTO of Cape Privacy. He spends his time on strategy, product, and architecture (and coding whenever he can!). Gavin was previously the Co-founder/CTO of GoInstant, which Salesforce acquired. He’s an angel investor in 20+ startups.
Asaf is the front end tech lead @Evinced, with 10+ years of experience in web development, including: frontend, backend and test automation, and a special place in his heart for shiny CI pipelines.
Christopher takes great pride in producing highly efficient code, logical debugging, seeing the bigger picture when looking at a feature request from a client, and suggesting changes that would improve customer process efficiency. Customers often comment on Christopher’s ability to turn tech jargon into easy-to-understand concepts, helping them to understand the problem and the solution, often helping them see their applications’ future possibilities.
Martin Henz started adapting the programming textbook “Structure and Interpretation of computer programs” (SICP) to JavaScript in 2008. He publishes online and Scheme/JavaScript-comparison editions since 2012. In April 2022, MIT Press launched SICP JS with the original authors Hal Abelson and Gerald Jay Sussman, and with Martin and Tobias Wrigstad as adapters. Martin pursues the scalability of experiential learning as Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore.
Griffin Solot-Kehl is a Developer Advocate with over five years of experience working from baby startups to larger companies. He is a proud native of San Francisco, with a passion for improving the developer experience at all angles, from documentation, onboarding, accessibility, and more.
Katarzyna is the Co-founder of ec0lint – a tool for frontend developers that mitigates the carbon footprint of websites. On top of that, she works as a Project Manager in a nanotechnology company called Nanores. Her focus lies on diamonds and vacuum sensors. In her free time, Katarzyna enjoys cooking Asian food and visiting art exhibitions.
Adam leads frontend development at Chatham Financial as a Senior Software Engineer and shares his enjoyment of SIMD programming and Emacs with the world by creating educational videos for programmers. At Chatham, his efforts to centralize front-end resources and training have led to transformative improvements in consistency, quality, accessibility of user experiences, and developer efficiency. Outside work, he enjoys learning languages and haunting his favorite sushi joint.
Alberto Schiabel is a senior software engineer and former startup co-founder. He has 7+ years of industry experience, and he’s into typed functional programming. He’s currently an open-source engineer at Prisma. He mainly writes in TypeScript and Rust, but has previously spent a few years using C++ and Haskell professionally as well. In his free time, he helps juniors land their first gig in tech.
Ishan is a frontend enthusiast who has been working with the web for over eight years now. He’s a full-stack web developer with a keen sense of design and crafting extraordinary experiences on the web. He’s an active open-source contributor and loves talking/sharing and expanding his knowledge on the web and practically anything that runs on electricity 🙂
John Lindquist is a co-founder of egghead.io John has spent the majority of his career developing Rich Web Applications. Before starting egghead.io, John worked at JetBrains as a WebStorm evangelist, and before that he was a Technical Architect at Isobar leading large teams in building the latest and greatest in web apps for the Air Force, HBO, and Bloomberg. He’s currently still at egghead and working full-time Script Kit to help developers build better workflows.
Nitin has more than 16 years of experience in software development. Nitin has extensive experience using Flex, ExtJS, Backbone, React, and Angular, and extensive experience designing web applications for fortune 100 clients. Nitin has devised solutions around real-time messaging, performance optimization, and state management. Apart from that, Nitin frequently writes his technology work on medium and the company’s internal portals.
Ansab is a Software Engineer who has worked for Arbisoft | edX team for the last two years. Ansab has also worked as an Engineering Architect on various startups for their MVPs, and he loves microservices.
Gil Fink is a web development expert, Web Technologies GDE, and sparXys CEO. He is currently consulting for various enterprises and companies, where he helps to develop web-based solutions. He is also co-author of several Microsoft Official Courses (MOCs) and training kits and co-author of “Pro Single Page Application Development” book (Apress).
Krishna Lodha is a freelance web GIS developer focusing on Open source technologies. Besides his freelancing career, he also writes blogs and creates videos about GIS on his YouTube channel. Krishna is also the founder of Rotten Grapes pvt ltd.
Shai Reznik is the founder of HiRez.io which provides effective, innovative, and fun web development training and services, and the creator of the “Test Effective Development” methodology which helps dev teams increase their productivity and code quality without slowing down development. Being a leading part of the JavaScript community since 2012 and a Google Developer Expert, Shai has been speaking all over the world giving wild and entertaining talks with over 180,000 developers watching (and probably a few random people as well!)
