Gil Fink is a web development expert, Web Technologies GDE and sparXys CEO. He is currently consulting for various enterprises and companies, where he helps to develop web based solutions. He is also co-author of several Microsoft Official Courses (MOCs) and training kits and co-author of “Pro Single Page Application Development” book (Apress).

Mark Volkmann
Mark Volkmann

Mark Volkmann is a Partner and Distinguished Engineer at Object Computing, Inc. (OCI) in St. Louis where he provides software consulting and training. He has assisted many companies with Swift/SwiftUI, JavaScript, Node.js, Svelte, React, Vue, Angular, and more. Mark is the author of the Manning book “Svelte and Sapper in Action” and the Pragmatic Bookshelf book “Server-Driven Web Apps with HTMX”.

Adam Niederer
Adam Niederer

Adam leads frontend development at Chatham Financial, where his efforts to centralize front-end resources and training have led to transformative improvements in product consistency and quality, accessibility of user experiences, and developer efficiency. In addition to the frontend, Adam especially enjoys working on projects involving performance, accessibility, and coding theory. Outside work, he spends his time learning human languages, writing open-source projects, and haunting his favorite sushi joint.

Francisca Beatriz specializes in graphic design, UX/UI and web development, with experience in both corporate and educational environments. Currently, Francisca leads a developers team at LATAM Airlines. Francisca seeks to participate in communities and lead projects in the technology area and tries to support others through talks and mentoring.

Nick Taylor
Nick Taylor

Nick is a senior software engineer at OpenSauced. Previously, he worked at Netlify on the frameworks team, where he created the Netlify Remix Edge adapter and supported the integration of other frameworks like Next.js. Nick live streams frequently on his own and with others in the tech community. He also volunteers and mentors for The Collab Lab and Virtual Coffee community. One of Nick’s favorite things is interacting with the developer community. While Nick is a huge fan of open source, he is not as big a fan of spiders.

Kilian is a front-end developer with over 20 years of experience that switched from building websites to building apps to build websites. He is interested in modern web development, desktop app development, and new technologies and regularly speaks about topics like responsive websites, design systems, and Electron. Kilian is a frequent open-source contributor.

Tamar (Twena) Stern

Tamar is a software developer, manager and architect. She has a decade of software engineering experience in various technologies: Server side, big data, mobile, web technologies, and security. She is currently focusing on Node.js, and has a deep knowledge of Node.js server architecture and Node.js performance optimisation.

Chris Laughlin

Chris is a Javascript developer based in Belfast, N.Ireland. Chris has been making and breaking the web for years. When he is not writing setTimeouts he can be found behind the lens of a camera taking nature pictures.

Matteo Collina
Matteo Collina

Matteo is the Co-Founder and CTO of Platformatic.dev with the goal of removing all friction from backend development. He is also a prolific Open Source author in the JavaScript ecosystem, and modules he maintains are downloaded more than 17 billion times a year. Previously, he was Chief Software Architect at NearForm, the best professional services company in the JavaScript ecosystem. In 2014, he defended his Ph.D. thesis titled “Application Platforms for the Internet of Things”. Matteo is a member of the Node.js Technical Steering Committee, focusing on streams, diagnostics, and HTTP. He is also the author of the fast logger Pino and the Fastify web framework. Matteo is an renowed international speaker after more than 60 conferences, including OpenJS World, Node.js Interactive, NodeConf.eu, NodeSummit, JSConf.Asia, WebRebels, and JsDay are just a few. He is also co-author of the book “Accelerating Server-Side Development with Fastify” edited by Packt. In the summer, he loves sailing the Sirocco.

Phil Nash

Phil is a developer relations engineer for DataStax and a Google Developer Expert living in Melbourne, Australia. He’s been working in developer relations for a decade, speaking at conferences since 2012 and writing JavaScript since before jQuery. Away from the keyboard, Phil enjoys travel, live music, and hanging out with his mini sausage dog, Ruby.

Haim Michael

Haim Michael started coding when he was eight years old. During the years 2001 – 2007, Haim led the development of more than 200 applications and games for mobile telephones, together with their complementary server-side applications. Haim Michael has been using JavaScript for nearly 30 years. Haim is a PHP Zend Certified Engineer, OMG-Certified UML Professional, Certified Java Professional, and a Certified Java EE Web Components Developer. In addition, Haim Michael holds an MBA (cum-laude) from Tel-Aviv University.

Javier is the founder of Hal9 Inc, a Seattle based company focused on making Artificial Intelligence more accessible. Previously, Javier worked in RStudio building AI tools for the R community, he is the author of the O’Reilly book Mastering Spark with R, and a former Microsoft Research engineer where he helped build large scale Deep Neural Networks.
