XtremeJS has, in total, six different competitions: Kahoot Quiz, Kahoot True Flase, Kahoot Simple Answers, Championship, Hackathon, and Breakout Room. These competitions take place on the same day, and they are open for all the attendees. There are many benefits for taking part in these competitions. We believe the following are the more important ones.
Becoming Active and Having Fun
Listening to talks delivered by others might be interesting and enjoyable. Yet, usually when been passive listening to others, at some point it might become tedious. The need to be more active always exists. The competitions we have in XtremeJ, and especially the ones taking place using the Kahoot platform, allows all the participants to take part and show off their professionalism.
Showing Off Your Expertise on Linkedin
We honor the winners with a nice banner that shows off their success, and share it on social networks, such as Linkedin. Showing off your professionalism on LinkedIn can eventually yield new career opportunities.
Yielding new Career Opportunities
If you are in between jobs, or a graduate looking for the first junior position or think about leaving your current job, our competitions might yield new career opportunities. When taking part in any of our competitions, you can specify that you allow us to share your details with companies that are looking to hire new developers. Doing so, we might share your details, which might lead to new career opportunities.
The Competitions’ Prizes
We are making a special effort to have sponsors for the competitions’ prizes. During the coming months till the conference takes place we hope to have some good news.
Each one of the three conferences (XtremeJ, XtremeJS, and XtremePython) we produce every year has the very same structure. Each one of these online conferences has five competitions (Kahoot Quiz, Kahoot True Flase, Kahoot Simple Answers, Championship, Breakout Room and Hackathon). We are looking for companies that are willing to sponsor prizes (all or some of them). The most suitable prize will probably be Amazon Gif Cards. When sponsoring prizes, all the contribution will go directly to the winners. We don’t take any share of this type of contribution, and we won’t issue any invoice. The sponsorship will go directly to the winners.
When supporting us through the prizes sponsorship path we won’t issue an invoice. The sponsorship will go directly to the winners. If you are interested in providing us with prizes sponsorship for our conference, please contact us at info@xtremej.dev.
